41mW Battery Storage Centre, Birmingham
- Critical close control temperature and humidity N+1 system. TRANE Indoor air cooled chillers, 6x battery room AHUs, mechanical and electrical services. 150m3/hr Fresh air to rectifiers.
- We undertook as a turnkey full design and build project
Challenges:
- Compact installation; very limited space constraints with all plant having to be concealed with no outdoor plant space
- Very strict external noise emittance planning criteria meant major custom attenuation and plenum construction
- Short time frame; all plant fabricated off site to enable fast installation
